CELEBRATING 16 YEARS OF GIVING
This annual holiday shopping benefit has been embraced by the community, growing to support over 90 not-for-profit organizations with the participation of over 70 Americana Manhasset and Wheatley Plaza stores. Much happens during the shopping benefit; charity receptions, complimentary gift-wrapping, personal shopper and concierge services abound. The air is charged with excitement as shoppers purchase holiday gifts knowing they are helping their favorite charities at the same time.

Since it's inception in 1996, Champions for Charity has raised over 6.2 million dollars. Taking an active role in the community has been an integral part of Americana Manhasset's mission throughout its 55-year history.

 
How it works...
Participating tenants of Americana Manhasset and Wheatley Plaza donate a percentage of designated pre-tax purchases to the participating organization of the customer's choice. Simply register for a CHAMPION CARD which is the quick and efficient way to participate in Champions for Charity® and designate 25% of your purchases to the charity of your choice. Registration for Champions for Charity® 2012 will begin in October.
